Project Accounting Manager - Real Estate

Our client in Abu Dhabi is seeking a highly skilled Project Accounting Manager to lead financial operations across major real estate developments. This role is ideal for a finance professional with a deep understanding of project accounting, IFRS standards, and UAE real estate regulations, combined with a passion for AI-driven financial management and automation.The role will be pivotal in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and profitability across multiple residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects — leveraging advanced analytics and intelligent systems to drive efficiency and strategic decision-making.Key ResponsibilitiesLead comprehensive project accounting for large-scale developments from inception to completion.Manage revenue recognition (IFRS 15), cost control, and project profitability reporting.Utilize AI-powered tools for cost monitoring, forecasting, and financial analysis.Oversee cash flow forecasting, contractor payments, and progress billing.Ensure compliance with UAE financial, real estate, and regulatory standards.Mentor and develop a high-performing project accounting team.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Professional certification (ACCA, CA, CPA, or equivalent).10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 5+ years in UAE real estate or construction project accounting.Must come from a real estate developer / real estate company. Proven expertise with AI/ML financial systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
