Islamic Relief Bangladesh is looking for Project Assistant - Climate Change Adaption & Disaster ResilienceKey PointsFor detailed job highlights, please download the job description from our official website (islamicrelief.org.bd)Job Description / ResponsibilityDigital Communication and Digital Platform Maintenance Support-40%Regularly update website content including project stories, blogs, images, news, publications, and event updates.Ensure all web links, forms, and downloadable files are functional and user-friendly.Manage website backups, apply security patches, and coordinate with IT to maintain optimal site performance.Maintain consistency of website design and content in line with IRB branding and communication guidelines.Manage and update Content Management Systems (CMS), such as WordPress.Support social media management (Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) to amplify program visibility and impact.Collaborate with communication and programme teams to align online content with thematic priorities and organizational goals.Communication, Documentation, and IEC Material Development-30%Design and develop IEC materials, infographics, and digital communication assets to support awareness and advocacy.Capture and document high-quality photos, videos, and testimonials from field activities.Edit multimedia content (using Adobe Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Photoshop, etc.) to produce professional stories and short documentaries.Support the development of case studies, human-interest stories, and project success documentation.Maintain organized digital archives of photos, videos, and communication materials for reporting and knowledge sharing.Research, Monitoring, and Knowledge Management-10%Support the team in conducting need assessments, baseline/endline studies, FGDs, KIIs, and data analysis.Assist in compiling, archiving, and organizing project data, reports, and evaluations (hard and soft copies).Ensure proper compliance with organizational policies, manuals, and safeguarding guidelinesOperational, Administrative & Logistical Support-20%Maintain proper inventory, stock books, and administrative records.Ensure safety, security, and safeguarding of all staff, community participants, and resources.Adhere to IR Child Protection, PSEA, and Safeguarding Policies.Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor or management.Support project teams in financial and administrative processes including PR, KYC, fund requests, payments, and settlements following IRB policies.Coordinate with procurement, finance, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.Maintain hard and soft copies of all project files (reports, meeting notes, MoUs, invoices, contracts, etc.) at the IRCO level.Organize workshops, training, and stakeholder consultations — ensuring venue, logistics, and documentation support.Prepare travel authorization forms (TAF), manage correspondence, and ensure Logistical arrangements for team missions.Educational RequirementsBachelor of Social Science (BSS) in Mass Communication & JournalismBachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A) in EnglishBachelor of Business Studies (BBS) in MarketingSkills Required: Journalism & Mass Communication, Communication, Website maintenance, INGO, Graphic Design, NGOExperience RequirementsAt least 2 year(s)The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO, Development AgencyExperience (Essential)Minimum 2 years of digital communication and platform maintenance or related experience in any INGO/NGOsCore Competencies (Essential)Strong skills in project implementation, Reporting & Documentation Skill.Skilled in Website maintenanceProficient in graphic design and multimedia editing tools (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Lightroom).Strong activity management and decision-making abilities.Demonstrates a high level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to the organization’s vision, mission, and values (Sincerity, Excellence, Social Justice, Custodianship, and Compassion).Committed to self-development, continuous learning, and quality improvement;
