This multidisciplinary group of about 40 researchers consists of medical doctors, engineers, physicists, technologists, and physiotherapists, doing work on a wide range of questions on cardiovascular physiology and pathophysiology.Within the research group, we value a positive work environment based on respect and care in our relationships with each other. Read more on the University website about being a Lund University employee: Work at Lund UniversityJob Duties And ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for a person to work on the following tasks:Computational laboratory work in acquisition, reconstruction and image analysis in MRIDevelopment and improvement of MRI methodsApplication of methods to medical applicationsOral and written presentation of results within the research groupOther related duties may also be included.QualificationsNecessary qualifications for the job:Master of Science in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Mathematics or similar.Experience of projects in biomedical engineering and medical applicationsFluency or advanced level of English language in speech and writingMeritorious are:Experience of mathematical methods for inverse problemsSoftware development, e.g. Matlab or PythonGood ability for collaborative workAbility to drive projects independently.Other InformationThe position is a fixed-term employment according to the Special Fixed-term Employment (SÄVA) regulations5 p1 LAS, and it is full-time.
