Project BOM Costing Manager

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a experienced and detail-oriented individual to join our Global Sourcing team.You will play a key role in overseeing the Bill of Materials (BOM) costing process for a variety of customer projects, you will be responsible for meticulously analysing costs, identifying potential cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring that accurate cost estimates are provided for each project. Your keen attention to detail and strong analytical skills will be essential in contributing to customer projects.Working closely with cross-functional teams, and your ability to foster strong relationships will be instrumental in driving continuous improvement in our cost management, ultimately enhancing our competitive edge in the industry.Key ResponsibilitiesManage RFQ BOM costing, including responsibility for bill of materials quotations, supplier negotiations, strategic price and vendor selectionCalculate the total cost to support a competitive customer quote, ensure accurate and reliable cost estimates for all projectsManage and oversee the BOM costing process for a diverse range of customer projects, conduct in-depth cost analysis and identify opportunities for cost savingsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cost-effective solutionsLead efforts to drive continuous improvement in cost management processes and proceduresEnsure compliance with company policies and procedures If you are a proactive problem-solver with a passion for cost optimization and project management, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity to make a significant impact at GPV.If you have a strong analytical mindset, attention to details and with passion for cost optimisation, we want to hear from you. Join us and be part of a dynamic sourcing team driving cost efficiency and project success.To be considered for the role, candidates must meet the following requirements:Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Electronic), Supply Chain Management or related fieldProven experience in Bill of Materials (BOM) costing or sourcing within a manufacturing environmentProficiency in RFQ management and price negotiation, strong understanding of customer needStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide cost analysisAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlinesDetail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precisionAdvanced Excel skills for cost modeling and analysisProficient in English communication, both oral and writtenExperience in the manufacturing or electronics industry is preferredCurious to learn more before applying?
