Please apply with a CV in englishAbout the companyOur international client in the cybersecurity sector is seeking an experienced Project Purchaser to join their team in Paris. In this role, you will report directly to the Head of Project Purchasing within the Business Unit Public Security & Identity.As a Project Purchaser, you will take ownership of purchasing activities across multiple projects and programs within the BU. Your primary mission is to act as the key purchasing interface for R&D, pre-sales, and program teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and optimal procurement outcomes.Main responsibilitiesFor the projects/programs and tenders under his/her responsibility, the Project Buyer will:Support pre-sales by preparing cost estimates and selecting suppliers and partners for Europe, Africa, APAC, and corporate-led programs.Represent Purchasing in Gate Reviews and the Supplier Selection Committee.Coordinate all purchasing activities with category buyers.Manage program- or product-specific sourcing and contracting. Drive the Design-to-Cost process with Program teams and R&D during product development.Contribute to Make-or-Buy decisions for each project or program.Ensure product line and global category strategies are applied within regional programs.Identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks. Report purchasing KPIs to the project team and Purchasing management. RequirementsMaster’s degree or equivalent in Management, Purchasing/Procurement, Engineering, or BusinessProfessional experience in Purchasing/Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or Project ManagementExperience working with multicultural virtual teams in a global and complex environmentStrategic Thinking and Thought Leadership: Ability to see ahead and think in terms of possibilities; creates a clear vision and strategy, thinks broadly and understands interdependenciesInfluencing Skills : Ability to build relationships and credibility across the organizationExecution Excellence: Ability to get things done and multi-task; acts with a sense of urgency; able to prioritize.Analytical skills, ethical responsibilityVery good interpersonal skills, team spirit essential
