About The RoleADG is seeking a strategic, executive-level Project Controls Director to provide oversight and assurance across our Capital Program. This role is responsible for safeguarding capital integrity, ensuring projects move from ideation to delivery with transparency, discipline, and certainty.The Project Controls Director will embed robust governance, deliver a unified Project Controls Framework, and provide the Executive, Capital Investment Committee (CIC), and Board with decision-ready business cases. You will transform data into intelligence, process into confidence, and governance into a culture of delivery accountability.Key ResponsibilitiesLead ADG’s Capital Framework, including governance, gate approvals, and business case facilitation.Drive whole-of-program visibility, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.Oversee project controls for cost, schedule, risk, and contingency management.Ensure compliance with aviation, safety, environmental, and workplace legislation.Provide monthly reporting on portfolio performance, risk, and approvals pipeline.Build and mentor a high-performing Project Controls team.Selection CriteriaTertiary qualifications in Engineering, Project Management, or Business.Proven leadership in project controls, governance, or capital program assurance.Experience establishing or leading a PMO for complex infrastructure portfolios.Advanced knowledge of cost estimation, contingency management, and gate approval processes.Strong financial acumen and familiarity with regulatory environments (aviation, environment, WHS, AEO).Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills and proficiency in project reporting tools.Eligibility for Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) and Australian Federal Police check.Why ADG?At Airport Development Group, we take pride in creating a workplace that supports growth, balance, and wellbeing.
