This is an excellent opportunity for a Smart & Biggar team member looking to take the next step in their career and contribute to the successful planning and delivery of key operational initiatives.As the Project Coordinator, you will directly supports the planning, execution, and successful delivery of projects across multiple departments, helping the firm achieve strategic goals and operational excellenceResponsibilities.Support project planning, including defining timelines, deliverables, resources, and milestones, ensuring alignment with business objectivesMaintain detailed project plans, status reports, and documentation. Track progress, risks, dependencies, and budget adherence, escalating issues as neededAct as a central point of contact between project stakeholders, departments, and external partners, facilitating communication and collaborationOrganize project meetings, prepare agendas, document minutes, and follow up on action items to ensure accountabilityAssist in managing timelines, budgets, and resource allocations to optimize efficiency and outcomesIdentify opportunities for enhancing project workflows and processes to support operational efficiencyQualifications, Competencies, And Experience.Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field2+ years of experience in a project support, coordination, or similar roleProficient in project management tools and software, including MS Excel, Visio, and other platformsStrong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholdersExcellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentPMP, CAPM, or other relevant project management certification is considered an assetProficiency in English is required; fluency in French is considered an assetSmart & Biggar offers a comprehensive total rewards package including:A competitive compensation structure based on transparency, clarity and fairness;A flexible benefits program;Personal days to help balance personal and professional commitments;Employee referral program.Smart & Biggar is a proud member of the Law Firm Diversity and Inclusion Network (LFDIN), working to promote diversity and encourage a culture of inclusion in our Firm and the broader legal profession.We welcome applications from all qualified individuals.
