Project Delivery Lead (Automotive Industry)

Job Title: Technical / Project Delivery Lead – Automotive IndustryRole Overview:The Technical/Project Delivery Lead is responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of automotive technology or product development projects — ensuring scope, schedule, quality, and budget adherence. The role bridges technical teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to deliver innovative, high-quality automotive solutions (e.g., vehicle systems, embedded software, connectivity, or EV components).Key Responsibilities:Lead cross-functional technical teams to deliver automotive projects from concept to launch.Define project scope, timelines, and resource plans in collaboration with engineering and product teams.Drive technical decision-making and ensure alignment with vehicle architecture, standards, and OEM requirements.Monitor and report project progress, risks, and mitigation plans.Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders (suppliers, OEMs, IT, quality, manufacturing).Ensure compliance with automotive standards (ASPICE, ISO 26262, IATF 16949, etc.).Manage project documentation, change requests, and delivery milestones.Support technical reviews, validation, and sign-off activities.Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive, or related).8–12 years of experience in automotive product or software development.Proven track record in project management or technical leadership roles.Strong understanding of automotive development processes (V-model, Agile, etc.).Familiarity with vehicle systems: ADAS, infotainment, powertrain, EV systems, or embedded controls.Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.Certification in PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum (preferred).Preferred Experience:Experience working with Tier-1 suppliers or OEMs.Knowledge of PLM tools, Jira, and automotive diagnostic or calibration tools.Exposure to global delivery environments and cross-functional collaboration.
