Project Engineer -Infrastructure

Job Description

To support the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and supervising infrastructure works including roads, utilities, drainage, sewerage, and other civil works to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery in compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.Key Responsibilities:Assist in overall project planning, scheduling, and execution of infrastructure works.Review design drawings, technical specifications, and project documents to ensure clarity and constructability.Supervise site activities including earthworks, road works, utility installations (water, sewerage, stormwater, irrigation, electrical, telecom, etc.).Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers for timely progress and material approvals.Monitor project progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on work status.Ensure works are carried out in compliance with project specifications, drawings, and approved quality and safety procedures.Assist in preparing method statements, material submittals, and inspection requests.Verify quantities and assist in preparing progress billing and project cost control.Support the Project Manager in resolving technical issues, design changes, and site constraints.Participate in progress meetings and coordinate with relevant authorities when required.Ensure all safety, quality, and environmental policies are implemented on site.Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in infrastructure / civil / utilities projects (roads, sewerage, drainage, water supply, etc.).
