Project Engineer

We're the global leader in providing energy solutions that help businesses grow and communities thrive.We work as a team and we’re proud of the difference we make to customers, to local communities, and towards a sustainable future for the world.We are seeking a Project Engineer in Saudi Arabia who will provide on‑site team leadership and resolve complex challenges using established processes.Why Aggreko?Position will be based in Jeddah , KSACompetitive compensation packageIndustry-leading benefit plans including medical insuranceContinuous training and development with career growth opportunitiesSafety-focused cultureWhat You’ll DoAct as a single point of contact for the duration of the project and clearly communicate project expectations to all relevant stakeholders.Liaise with client’s technical staff and visit potential job sites, as required, to verify project needs.Deliver projects to specification, within agreed timelines and to budget.Works closely with SME’s, Project Design team and Sales team to ensure that project application design is accurate and fit for purpose according to customer requirements.Provides ongoing support to the Regional Project Engineering teams and builds local project engineering capability in conjunction with the Regional Heads of Operations.Manages the incoming workload of project sales enquiriesManages the application design and associated workload for all complex enquiries.Provides Engineering advice to the Commercial team on the technical component of bids.Ensures the adherence of all project designs to the relevant quality, safety, environmental and legalisation standards.Works closely with the Regional Engineering teams in development and implementation of Best Engineering Practices and Procedures for the Global Applications Engineering Group.Displays a commitment to Orange Excellence initiativesAnalysis of client system load profiles and electrical plant characteristics to determine sizing of power generation packages.Analysis and interpretation of electrical drawings to determine parameters for safe and efficient connection of power packages to customers’ electrical distribution systems.Compilation of engineering design reports for submission to clients and management.Design and specification of ‘specialist’ equipment.Aggreko places a strong emphasis on health, operational safety and environmental protection. It is a requirement and moral obligation of each employee to be actively committed and accountable for compliance to the Aggreko Health, Safety & Environmental policies, operating procedures and compliance to local legislation.Adherence to the relevant quality, safety, environmental and regulatory requirements and standards.You’ll Have The Following Skills And ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Engineering (BEng) or equivalent; MEng advantageous.Minimum 5 years’ engineering experience, including on‑site operations and people management.Strong technical background in electrical distribution systems, generator operation, fault diagnosis, testing and commissioning procedures.Experience supporting major events, entertainment or television broadcast projects, including hands‑on use of event power/distribution equipment.Proven track record of working within and promoting a robust Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) culture.Confident supervising and directly managing small‑to‑medium on‑site teams.Proficient user of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).Basic ability in Auto CAD LT would be an advantageFind out more and apply now.Bring your energy.
