Project Engineer

Support the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and coordinating multi-disciplinary project activities across design, procurement, construction, and commissioning stages.Monitor project progress, timelines, cash flow, deliverables, and interdependencies for civil, MEP, process, tank farm, and racking system packages to ensure alignment with overall project objectives.Review and coordinate engineering documentation, including P&IDs, PFDs, GA drawings, BOQs, and construction details, while maintaining accurate version control and revision records.Conduct routine site visits and joint inspections with consultants and contractors; prepare daily and weekly progress reports to ensure construction works adhere to approved specifications, safety standards, and schedules.Coordinate with vendors and contractors for timely delivery, installation, and integration of project equipment such as racking systems and process skid units.Prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, authority communications, and meeting minutes, ensuring clear documentation, professional correspondence, and timely follow-ups.Support vendor prequalification, tender evaluations, and assist in commercial and technical discussions with suppliers and subcontractors.Facilitate preparation and submission of regulatory documentation to authorities such as Trakhees, JAFZA, Civil Defense, and EHS, maintaining up-to-date compliance records and approval trackers.Organize and maintain comprehensive, version-controlled project files including drawing registers, inspection records, testing reports, permits, and handover documentation.Assist in project close-out activities, including compilation of as-built drawings, commissioning records, O&M manuals, and final handover packages.
