As a Project Engineer, you will be at the forefront of our efforts to push boundaries and achieve outstanding results in some of the most challenging environments.Based onsite at Prominent Hill in South Australia you’ll be a key player in delivering projects that are crucial to our clients and the broader industry. Your expertise will drive the successful execution of engineering tasks, from concept through to completion.You’ll Make An Impact ByLeading the planning, coordination, and execution of engineering projectsDesigning and reviewing lifting plans, ensuring seamless execution of critical tasksIdentifying and procuring any contractor-supplied items related to the work packs, coordinating between various departments to streamline the processProviding invaluable technical input in developing project schedules, ensuring all milestones are met through effective engagement with key stakeholdersAssisting in estimating variation works and additional major scopes of work, contributing to accurate project planningPlaying a pivotal role in daily, weekly, and monthly reporting, as well as project claims, effectively communicating progress and achievementsEnsuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standardsCollaborating with cross-functional teams to solve complex technical challengesOverseeing project documentation and compliance with industry regulationsManaging and mitigating project risks to ensure safe and efficient project deliveryWhat You’ll BringTo succeed in this role, you will have:A degree in Mechanical EngineeringProven experience in project management within the engineering or construction sectorsStrong understanding of project management methodologies and toolsExcellent communication and leadership skillsA commitment to safety and quality in all aspects of your workIdeally, You Will Also HaveExperience in remote or challenging environments, particularly in the mining or industrial sectorsThe ability to think critically and solve problems under pressureA flexible and adaptable approach to work, with a focus on delivering resultsWhy M2P Engineering?We’ve come a long way since starting out in 2017.Right from the beginning, we brought a different approach to engineering construction in the mining, industrial and marine sectors.
