Project Engineer (Water /Wastewater Engineering)

Job Description (JD)i) Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.ii) Coordinate resources, both human and material, to ensure project milestones are met.iii) Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise.iv) Perform or oversee the design of water/wastewater treatment plants (Mechanical and Electrical) and related infrastructure.v) Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses for proposed projects.vi) Ensure designs meet regulatory standards and client requirements.vii) Prepare & execute procurement documents, including specifications and requests for proposals (RFPs) and price negotiation for Mechanical/Electrical.viii) Evaluate bids and select contractors and suppliers.ix) Manage contracts, including negotiation, change orders, and compliance.x) Implement quality assurance and quality control measures.xi) Ensure projects comply with environmental regulations, health and safety standards, and industry codes.xii) Serve as the primary point of contact (will be appointed as Construction Manager for the designated project) for clients during the construction phase.xiii) Communicate project status, issues, and resolutions effectively.xiv) Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.xv) Monitor and manage project risks throughout the project lifecycle.xvi) Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, reports, and correspondence.xvii) Prepare regular progress reports and presentations for stakeholders.xviii) Execute the project document standardization (design templates, SOP & checklist) and filing systems and processes.Job Specification (JS)i) Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering /environmental engineering/mechanical engineering/electrical engineering or related field.ii) Previous experience in water/wastewater engineering or construction projects is typically required.iii) Proficiency in engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD) and project management tools/software (e.g., Microsoft Project).iv) Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.v) Strong Project Management Skillvi) Strong analytical and problem solving skillvii) Excellent client-facing & internal communication skillsviii) Effective team playerix) Able to travel for outstationx) Self disciplineInterested candidates please submit your application through Jobstore
