Summary Of PositionAs the Project Management Intern, you will support Project Managers in planning, executing, monitoring, and closing projects. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field and office, working to help projects stay on time, within budget, and compliant with all relevant laws and standards.Duties & ResponsibilitiesAssist in developing timelines and schedules for projects. Track project progress: monitor tasks, deliverables, timelines, and flag potential delays or issues. Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and internal teams (Safety, Facilities, Operations, and Finance). Maintain documentation: contracts, permits, environmental reports, safety logs, inspection reports. Help ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and legal regulations (hazardous materials, waste disposal, air/water quality, etc.). Assist in site inspections / field visits to verify work, inspect conditions, and gather data. Participate in meetings (kickoffs & progress) and record meeting minutes / action items. Support cost tracking & budget vs. actual reporting. QualificationsEnrolled in or recent graduate of a relevant program (e.g., Construction Management, Environmental Engineering / Science, Civil Engineering, Project Management, Industrial Hygiene, etc.) Some exposure to construction, environmental science, remediation, or demolition operations—through coursework, internships, or projects is a plus Strong organizational skills, attention to detail Good analytical skills; ability to interpret plans, drawings, data Comfortable with field work: willingness to visit job sites Good communication skills (written and verbal) Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Physical RequirementsProlonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at times.
