🔹 Job Title: Subsea Pipeline Project Manager 📍 Location: Mumbai, India 💼 Experience Required: 10–25 Years 🛢️ Industry: Offshore Oil & GasJob Description (Project Management Focus):We are looking for a highly experienced Subsea Pipeline Project Manager to lead, manage, and deliver offshore pipeline engineering projects from planning through execution and closeout. The ideal candidate will oversee the full project lifecycle, ensuring technical excellence, schedule adherence, cost control, and compliance with offshore oil & gas standards.This role requires deep understanding of subsea pipeline engineering together with strong project planning, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.Key Responsibilities:Project Planning & CoordinationLead and manage subsea pipeline projects through conceptual, FEED, and detailed engineering stages.Develop project execution plans, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (structural, process, installation, procurement, and construction).Manage project interfaces and ensure seamless engineering coordination.Technical Oversight & ReviewReview and guide pipeline engineering activities such as routing, wall thickness design, on-bottom stability, expansion studies, and span analysis.Oversee preparation and verification of engineering deliverables including design reports, alignment sheets, specifications, and drawings.Ensure all designs comply with international codes (DNV, API, ASME, ISO, etc.).Risk, Quality & ComplianceConduct and participate in technical reviews, HAZID/HAZOP, risk assessments, and design audits.Ensure adherence to project quality plans, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.Mitigate project risks and implement corrective actions to maintain project integrity.Execution, Installation & Commissioning SupportProvide technical and project management support during fabrication, offshore installation, testing, and commissioning activities.Coordinate with installation contractors and vessel teams for subsea execution planning.Monitor field progress, resolve site issues, and ensure safe and timely completion.Stakeholder & Client ManagementAct as the primary point of contact for client communication.Present project updates, reports, and technical clarifications to clients and internal management.Ensure high-quality deliverables and maintain strong client satisfaction.Required Skills & Software Proficiency:Strong understanding of subsea pipeline engineering principles and offshore design codes (DNV-ST-F101, API 1111, ASME B31.8, etc.).Experience with pipeline engineering and project-related software such as: Orcaflex, OFFPIPE, CAESES, PIPESIM, Caesar II, ANSYS or equivalent.Solid experience in project scheduling, planning tools, and engineering coordination.Knowledge of material selection, corrosion management, and pipeline integrity.Understanding of offshore installation engineering and subsea construction methods.Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.Education Qualification:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Offshore, Ocean Engineering, or related discipline. Project Management Certification (PMP / Prince2) is an added advantage.
