We pride ourselves on providing an inclusive working environment, where a diverse workforce is supported to grow and develop.The Vacancy - Binnies an RSK companyWe are recruiting Project Managers to join our growing Flood, Coast & Environment team based in England and Wales with office locations in Chester, Manchester, Swansea, Bristol, Birmingham, or Bradford on Avon. Our teams consult, deliver and manage projects across the Flood and Coastal Erosion Risk Management (FCERM) and Environment sectors. Your expertise and experience will be vital to support key Clients, such as Natural Resources Wales, the Environment Agency and local authorities. You will be accountable for the planning and execution of our projects to the defined scope, cost and programme to meet our client’s requirements. Successful applicants will be based in one of our above-mentioned offices on a hybrid basis. The ability to travel to Client offices and project sites is essential.Key Responsibilities:Understand our customer’s requirements in the FCERM and Environment sectorPlan, execute, monitor and control projects in terms of scope, time, cost, quality, resource, communications, risk, procurement and stakeholder managementContract management, predominantly under the NEC suite of contractsLeadership of the overall coordination and production of multi-disciplinary projectsCreate and review proposals and costings for new projectsManage consultancy projects varying in size up to £500k in revenueAttributes: The role is suitable for a Project Manager, or Project Engineer with a proven track record in Project Management and a desire to develop their career in this direction. You should possess and be able to demonstrate the following qualifications, experience, skills and knowledge:Professional qualification in project management, engineering or environment e.g. ChPP, CEng, C.WEM, CEnvDegree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths), Geography, or Environment disciplineCollaborative individual with leadership skills to form and manage project teams, engage our clients, and create positive changeExperience in managing projects in a Consultancy business using the NEC suite of contractsProactive and methodical approach to problem solving as an individual and as part of a team with a desire to find a solutionExcellent communicator with staff, clients and stakeholdersAbout UsWe develop intelligent solutions using our award-winning integrated planning and design approach to deliver functional infrastructure and lasting environmental and social legacies.
