We are now looking for a Mechatronics Engineer and Project Manager to our R&D team. Join a global technology leader with over 150 years of innovation!Your roleOur ergonomic product portfolio increases productivity and improves working conditions for thousands of operators globally—every single day. In this role you work with a portfolio of torque arms and electronic accessories, like sensors and positioning systems, all playing a key role in improving industrial assembly processes. You also work with our industrial PC. You do both design updates and work in new development projects in close collaboration with our marketing department. This is a cross-functional role where you interact with nearly all parts of the organization. Besides marketing, you also cooperate with quality, other R&D disciplines, production sites, suppliers, and of course your team colleagues. You document and update product data for our portfolio, as well as contribute to research and innovation initiatives.MissionDo product improvements to our product portfolioDevelop new products in our portfolioDefine and align scope and time planDrive the project forward in a structured way including report status on deliverables, time plan and budgetYou report to Johanna Johansson, Team manager Station Ergonomics R&D.You will needMaster’s or bachelor's degree in mechatronics or equivalent (e.g. mechanical engineering with electronics experience) Several years’ experience in engineeringExperience of multidisciplinary project management Strong communication skills and an ability to drive projects and improvementsGood knowledge of electronics: for example analog & digital circuit design and PCB layout reviewFluency in English MeritousAble to do mechanical design in CAD Embedded software experience: microcontrollers, real‐time systems, communications Knowledge on electronics product verification and testingProduct development experience Knowledge of electronic CAD systems such as Orcad and Altium We offerAt Atlas Copco, we value your contributions and who you are.
