Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of HVAC-related projects across commercial and industrial sectors, providing solutions for critical environments, with a strong focus on Data Centers and other mission-critical facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all phases of project execution, ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while maintaining strong client relationships and supporting business growth.Candidate ProfileThis position requires a technically skilled and organised professional with experience managing HVAC or mechanical engineering projects. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, commercial awareness, and the ability to coordinate technical teams, subcontractors, and client stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the full project lifecycle from initiation to completion, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget.Provide consistent project updates to stakeholders on strategy, progress, and performance.Perform quality control checks on budgets, schedules, and technical documentation.Review engineering work and implement corrective actions where required.Prepare and manage project documentation including technical submittals and approval processes (e.g., for pharmaceutical or regulated environments).Undertake HVAC design-related tasks, including drawing modifications and system updates.Oversee procurement activities, ordering parts and equipment as required.Support operational and engineering teams to ensure seamless project execution.Required Skills and ExperienceEducation / Knowledge / Certification:Third-level qualification in HVAC, Building Services, or Technical Engineering (or equivalent experience).Experience:2–5 years of experience managing HVAC or mechanical engineering projects.Skills:Strong organisational and project management capabilities.Proficiency in project scheduling, budgeting, and reporting tools.Technical proficiency in HVAC systems and CAD or computer-based design software.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.Competencies:Customer-focused approach with strong communication skills.Analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem solving.Financially aware with solid business acumen.Collaborative team player with leadership capability.Desirable Qualifications:Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP or equivalent).Experience in regulated sectors such as pharmaceuticals or life sciences.Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement processes.Working knowledge of CAD or design-based software.Benefits & Career Growth:Competitive SalaryCompany Car Scheme23 Days Annual Leave (+ Bank Holidays & Holiday Purchase Scheme)Pension SchemeLife AssuranceBike-to-Work SchemeLong Service AwardsEmployee Assistance Programme & Mental Health SupportOngoing Learning & Development Opportunities
