This is a contract to hire role in the Atlanta area. This role is NOT open to C2C, OPT, or any Visa consideration. No vendor support of ANY kind needed.Overview: We are seeking an organized and solution-driven Project Manager with experience in the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance industry to lead cross-functional projects within a fast-paced IT environment. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of project management experience, demonstrates strong communication and leadership skills, and is comfortable working with both business and technical stakeholders. Experience with Duck Creek, Guidewire, Majesco, or similar insurance system platforms is highly desirable.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end project delivery, including scoping, planning, scheduling, resource allocation, risk management, and reportingPartner with business, IT, QA, and vendor teams to execute technology and operational initiatives within P&C lines of businessManage project roadmaps, requirements, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomesFacilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies or structured Waterfall project plans, depending on the project needsTrack and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests; communicate impacts and resolutions to leadershipPartner with product owners and business stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable development tasksDrive UAT planning, coordination, and execution to ensure systems meet business and compliance standardsPrepare executive-level status updates, dashboards, and project documentationSupport implementations, system enhancements, and platform integrations within the P&C ecosystemRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)3–5 years of experience managing technology-driven projects, ideally within the P&C insurance sectorProven experience working with cross-functional and technical teams (IT, QA, developers, business users, vendors)Familiarity with P&C insurance operations, claims, policy, billing, or underwriting workflowsStrong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentPreferred / Nice-to-HaveHands-on experience with Duck Creek, Guidewire, Majesco, or similar insurance administration systemsPMP, CSM, or other recognized project management certificationsExperience with SQL, JIRA, Smartsheet, or other tracking/reporting tools
