JOB SUMMARY Under the direction of the Head of Strategic Programs Office, the Senior Program Manager is responsible for providing project management leadership to the Institutes and Departments within the Business and Clinical Operations, as well as other Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi projects as assigned. Key job duties include managing key deliverables to timely completion and managing projects focusing on strategy and governance within clinical and non-clinical operations, both internal and external to Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. Additionally, the position interfaces with all levels of management.PRIMARY JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESLead Institutes and Departments and other CCAD projects as assigned by C-suite through the project lifecycle, to include implementation of project management methodology, operations (processes, procedures, etc.), performance metrics and communications to allow for successful, on-time project plan execution.Leads projects and coordinates efforts related to achieving the strategic program milestones for Institutes and Departments and partners with functional area leads (Directors, Administrators, etc.) to develop content, project deliverables, and other assigned work productsDefines and develops projects thoroughly, including scope, objectives, work plans, milestones, resource requirements and deliverablesOversees project work plan progress and timelines, assesses implications of plan changes and identifies issues for further escalationInterfaces with other Program Managers to coordinate work effort across Institutes and Departments within the work streams of the Strategic Programs OfficeProvides accurate, timely information to the Head of Strategic Programs Office related to Program statusIdentifies risk & issues and develops recommendations in collaboration with Institute and Department leads and other senior leadershipPresents enterprise-wide risksand issues for action andtrackingReviews the key milestone changerequests including ensuring complete understanding of the request and reviewing the quality standards of the change requestFollow and implementChange Control Boardmeeting to assessif change requests Ensures efficient coordination and communication betweenimpacted CCAD institutes and/or departments for impact assessment in change management processRefine program plans (e.g. communication plan, stakeholder plan, etc.) by obtaining feedback from the Program Executive Sponsor, Steering Committee and reflect accordinglyEnsures that all SPO processes are followed throughout the Program lifecycleOther duties as assignedORGANIZATION-WIDE COMPETENCY ASSESSMENT REQUIREMENTSAll employees will embrace the CCAD mission, vision and values and be responsible for adhering to the core values of the institution, including: Patient’s First, Collaboration, Mutual Respect, Quality, Patient Safety, Integrity, Cultural Sensitivity and Compassion.All employees are also expected to meet the standards of performance outlined in the Organization-Wide Competencies listed below as applied to the position.Customer Service Orientation includes attitude, behavior, interpersonal skill and problem solving that enable an employee to respond to internal and external customer needs and expectations in a positive manner. Managerial Responsibilities includes overall accountability for assigned work group relative to operational goals, personnel requirements and budgetary constraints.Assume responsibility of own safety and health and will abide by CCAD Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures as per OSHAD and any other relevant requirements.QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSEducationBachelor’s degree is requiredMaster’s degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, or related field preferredExperienceThree to five (3-5) years of project management experience requiredExperience in interfacing with middle management and senior management Experience in a healthcare operations environment is preferredCertification and Licensure Project management certification is preferred i.e. PRINCE2, PMPJob Specific Skills and AbilitiesExperience in interfacing with middle management and senior management Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools and best practicesProven track record of successfully implementing moderately largeprojects across multiple departments in a complex settingHigh proficiency with standard computer software programs such as Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and ProjectStrong oral and written communication skills Ability to speak and write in English is required
