Working on projects from smaller up to $20m to $50m. ASAP start for the right candidate.Our client is a boutique client-side project management consultancy who provide independent and professional services for property and infrastructure projects. They are looking for an enthusiastic Project Manager to join their innovative and client focused team to work. Experience working on industrial, warehouse & distribution centre building projects is desirable, as well as commercial and retail.The candidate can come from the client side or head contractor side but will ideally have some experience working on the client or consultancy side.As Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering projects from front end scope development through construction to hand over, providing a high-quality service that will ensure client expectations are met and exceeded.The Ideal Candidate will have: Experience of managing projects from scope development to hand overIdeally a proven track record in managing the design development as well as the up-front regulatory approvalsExperience on capital works upgrades as well as new build projects from $20m to $50m+, ideally in industrial or similarIdeally experience of working for a client-side PM firm or a main contractor on D&C contracts in buildingsDevelop documentation for the appointment of contractors through competitive tenderingIdentify and manage construction risk through all projects, escalating issues when requiredBe able to manage project expenditure and cash flowBe able to interrogate construction programsBe able to manage variations, EOTs, RFIs on the client/contractor side including authority approvalsBe able to manage defect identification and rectificationStrong stakeholder management skillsA positive and "can do" attitude and extremely high client serving standards are essentialQualifications and Requirements:Tertiary Qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or similarMinimum 3 to 7+ years’ experienceIdeally experience of working for a client-side PM firm or a main contractor on D&C contracts in buildingsIdeally understanding of the Local and State planning systems and pathways, development applications.Strong project financial reporting skillsStrategic thinker who can see the bigger pictureExcellent verbal and written communication skillsWell-developed interpersonal skillsPrevious experience working on construct only and design & construct contracts such as AS4000, AS4902, AS4300, AS2124, GC21 and PC1This is a full-time permanent position providing a great opportunity to work with an established organisation who offer challenging work.If you have the skills and experience that we are looking for, click “Apply” to submit your resume or contact Jacob Montague-Day via email on jacob.montague-day@amida-recruit.com.au or Lisa Naughton via email on lisa.naughton@amida-recruit.com.au or Sam Barnes via email on sam.barnes@amida-recruit.com.au for further information.
