Evangelism is at the heart of all we do at CV, bringing the gospel to people around the world in both physical and digital realms.Job OverviewThe Projects Manager for Mission Tools is responsible for planning and executing projects related to the development, deployment, and ongoing support of CV's mission tools. This role focuses on the operational delivery of defined mission tools, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, on time, within scope, and within budget by coordinating resources and managing project-level risks.Specific ResponsibilitiesProject planning & scoping: work with product managers to understand the product initiatives, develop comprehensive project plans including detailed scope, objectives, tasks, timelines, resource allocation, and budget for each mission tool project.Execution & coordination: lead the execution of mission tool projects, ensuring adherence to project plans and established methodologies. Coordinate internal Mission Tools team resources (e.g. business analysts, support specialists) and collaborate closely with CV’s Technology function and third parties/vendors for flawless project delivery.Risk & issue management: proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks. Resolve operational issues that impede project progress, escalating critical concerns to the Head of Mission Tools and relevant product managers as needed.Progress tracking & reporting: continuously monitor project performance against milestones, budget, and scope. Provide regular, clear updates onproject status, adherence to timelines, and resource utilisation to product managers and the Head of Mission Tools.Change management: manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs, working with product managers for impact assessment and approval, using appropriate verification techniques.Documentation & best practices: create and maintain comprehensive project documentation. Contribute to, and advocate for, continuous improvement of project management processes and tools within the Mission Tools team.Cross-tool coordination: oversee and manage dependencies across multiple simultaneous mission tool projects, ensuring efficient resource allocation and minimising conflicts.As part of a global organisation, you will be required to collaborate across time zones, which may involve out-of-hours availability. Skills, Experience And Education Proven experience (3 – 5 years) managing projects in a technology or product development environment.Strong technical background with hands-on exposure to software development and web technologies.Exceptional communication skills, both client-facing and internal, with clear written and verbal proficiency.Excellent organisational skills with a strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, ClickUp).Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or equivalent certification.Track record of delivering projects to successful completion within complex, multi-stakeholder contexts.Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field (preferred).Experience working in non-profit or ministry environments, particularly across cultures or global teams (preferred).Practical experience with agile methodologies.Awareness of emerging technologies and digital evangelism tools.Apply Now
