Maintain liaison with prime contracts, monitoring construction and financial activities. Has responsibility for financial success of assigned project.ResponsibilitiesProvide direction to assigned project area. Maintain liaison with prime contracts, monitoring construction and financial activities.Provide overall administrative and technical direction to project construction activities.Enforce company and project policies, may be main client interface, and ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisors.Plan, organize and staff key field positions through corporate department heads or subordinate project/construction managers or superintendents.Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within boundaries of corporate policy.Initiate and maintain liaison with prime client and A/E contacts, to facilitate construction activities.Monitor/control construction through administrative direction of on-site department heads/staff to ensure project is built on schedule and within budget; investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures.Represent company in project meetings, assist in subcontractor or labor negotiations, strategy meetings, etc.Manage financial aspects of contracts to protect company’s interest and simultaneously maintain good relationship with client.Responsible for safe working conditions within his / her assigned area of authority through the execution of the corporate safety procedures and adherence to established safe practices.Responsible for the understanding, execution, and enforcement of corporate quality standards within his / her assigned area of authority by identifying potential problems early and ensuring the project and company’s quality commitments are met.Assume additional responsibilities or assignments per supervisor’s and/or corporate direction.QualificationsBachelor's degree with a minimum of 7 years construction experience plus 3 years project manager and/or engineering experience.
