Project Manager

Position: Project ManagerLocation: Dubai, UAEReporting to: Head of Projects / CEOIndustry: Stand Alone Restaurants/QSR’s / HospitalityRole Overview:We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead the planning, design coordination, execution, and handover of restaurant projects across the UAE. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of civil, MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing), HVAC systems, furniture and kitchen layouts, and local UAE building codes/regulations. This role requires strong cross-functional coordination, vendor management, and the ability to deliver high-quality projects within budget and timelines.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end project management of new restaurant outlets, refurbishments, and fit-outs.Source and manage relevant vendors.Interpret and review architectural, civil, and MEP drawings to ensure design alignment with operational requirements.Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and regulatory authorities for seamless project execution.Oversee kitchen layouts, equipment installation, HVAC systems, furniture layouts, and finishes, ensuring functionality and brand compliance.Ensure adherence to UAE building codes, fire & safety regulations, municipality requirements, and other statutory approvals.Liaison with necessary government bodies for approvals and permits as required.Manage project budgets, cost estimations, and ensure cost-effective procurement without compromising quality.Develop and monitor project schedules, ensuring timely completion and effective resource allocation.Conduct site inspections to ensure workmanship, safety compliance, and adherence to design specifications.Liaise with internal stakeholders (operations, design, finance, supply chain) to align on project requirements.Ensure proper handover of completed projects to operations with necessary documentation and approvals.Qualifications & SkillsBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or related field.Minimum 7–10 years of project management experience in hospitality/restaurant/retail fit-out projects.Strong knowledge of civil works, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and kitchen layouts.Thorough understanding of UAE building codes, municipality regulations, and approval processes.Excellent ability to read and interpret drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.Proven track record of handling multiple projects simultaneously.Strong vendor negotiation and contract management skills.Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD preferred).Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Key AttributesHighly organized and detail-oriented.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Strong interpersonal skills to manage contractors and stakeholders effectively.Hands-on and solution-oriented approach.Excellent communication skillsIn depth knowledge of governmental processes and documentation
