Job Description

Position OverviewThe Project Manager / Estimator plays a key role in ensuring our projects are accurately estimated, well-organized, and successfully completed on time and within budget. The ideal candidate has strong industry experience, excellent communication skills, and a passion for managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for commercial, residential, and industrial painting projects.Review project plans, blueprints, and specifications to determine scope, materials, labor, and timelines.Manage projects from award to completion, including scheduling, crew coordination, and client communication.Conduct site visits to assess conditions, measure areas, and ensure quality standards are met.Build and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers.Track project progress, budgets, and change orders.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.QualificationsMinimum 3–5 years of experience in the painting, coatings, or construction industry (estimating/project management experience required).Strong knowledge of surface preparation, paint systems, materials, and application methods.Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite (experience with Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar tools is an asset).Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.Why Join Kalpin Painting Inc.?Competitive compensation packageOpportunities for professional growth and advancementSupportive and safety-focused team cultureVariety of exciting projects across sectorsJob Type: Full-timePay: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
