Within the Project Engineering department of the client, you will set up and lead technical industrial projects, from idea to realization. These projects are carried out for production facilities, infrastructure, and R&D. Some projects are in the start-up phase, some projects are already ongoing.You are ultimately responsible for all aspects of your project:Responsible for defining the project scope. In consultation with the client:Defining specific deliverables: what is complete when the project is finished?Defining constraints (budget, planning).Responsible for assembling and leading the project team.Responsible for the technical design of the entire project.Responsible for preparing specifications / tender documents for orders, engineering firms, and contractors (both internal and external).Responsible for the selection of orders, engineering firms, and contractors. Also consider specific resources, e.g., designers, but also outsourcing (part) projects.Directing and monitoring all resources, both internal and external.Maintaining contact with the client throughout the project to capture and assess changes. If agreed upon, implementing them in the project (scope changes).Reporting to stakeholders.Profile RequirementsMinimum 10 years experience as project manager managing industrial projects (End-2-end responsibility of the project)Minimum 7 years experience as (Project) Engineer (Mechanical, electrical, piping, civil, ..)Technical knowledge of other disciplines such as electromechanics, chemistry is a plusExperience in the process industry is mandatoryStrong experience with MS Project as Project Management toolKnowledge and application of all common project management aspects.Academic thinking level (analytical but also helicopter view).Strong administrative reporting skills.Non-Technical profile requirementsYou take initiative!
