GP Strategies is seeking a skilled and proactive Project Manager based in Latin America (LATAM) to support our Microsoft client account. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, collaborative professional who thrives in fast-paced, agile environments and is passionate about delivering high-impact projects on time and within scope.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex projects, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to work with cross-functional teams across global time zones.Fluency in Advanced English—both spoken and written—is essential, as this role involves frequent collaboration with global stakeholders and reporting to English-speaking leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & ExecutionLead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple concurrent projects, ensuring alignment with client goals and timelines.Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.Stakeholder ManagementServe as the primary point of contact for internal teams and client stakeholders.Facilitate regular status meetings, provide updates, and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.Gather and incorporate feedback to ensure continuous improvement and client satisfaction.Risk & Issue ManagementIdentify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.Proactively resolve issues and escalate when necessary to ensure project continuity.Process & Quality AssuranceEnsure adherence to project management best practices and methodologies.Monitor project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and implementing process enhancements.Technology, AI & InnovationLeverage project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Planner, Teams, SharePoint) to streamline workflows.Explore and apply AI-powered tools to enhance project tracking, reporting, and communication.Stay current on industry trends and contribute to internal communities of practice.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in project management, Business, or a related field.7–15 years of experience managing projects in a corporate or tech environment.Proven success in delivering complex, cross-functional projects on time and within budget.Strong collaboration and communication skills, with experience working in matrixed organizations.Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools (Project, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).Experience working with global teams and navigating diverse cultural and organizational dynamics.Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written) are required.Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or other project management methodologies.Experience working at Microsoft or a comparable large-scale, matrixed tech organization is highly preferred.Demonstrated interest in leveraging AI to improve project efficiency and outcomes.
