Project Manager

Position Title: Project Engineer Location: Manila, PhilippinesPosition SummaryWe are seeking a technically strong Project Engineer to join our Manila-based EPC team, focusing on Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects. The role is highly technical, requiring expertise in full-station design review, drawing validation, and on-site technical clarification. The candidate will bridge the gap between engineering design and project execution, ensuring that drawings, specifications, and installation works meet both client and regulatory standards.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Drawing ReviewReview and validate station-level electrical, civil, and mechanical drawings.Conduct detailed checks on single line diagrams (SLDs), layout drawings, grounding, cabling, and system integration.Ensure compliance with NGCP standards, electrical codes, and international EPC best practices.Technical Documentation & ClarificationLead technical handover and clarification sessions with subcontractors and site teams.Prepare and explain technical drawings, engineering packages, and installation methods to ensure accurate implementation.Provide technical responses to RFI (Request for Information) from contractors and clients.Project Execution SupportSupport FAT, SAT, and commissioning activities by reviewing test procedures and participating in witness tests.Coordinate with project managers to ensure designs are executed correctly on-site.Conduct technical inspections and report design deviations or risks.Interface ManagementWork closely with suppliers of PCS, EMS, SCADA, and transformers to ensure proper integration.Align project documentation between design engineers, EPC subcontractors, and client representatives.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.5+ years of technical engineering experience in EPC projects (power/renewables preferred).Strong background in technical drawing review, design validation, and site technical clarification.Familiar with BESS systems, substations, or high-voltage electrical systems.Proficiency with AutoCAD and ability to interpret electrical drawings.Knowledge of NGCP grid interconnection standards and Philippine electrical codes preferred.Strong communication skills in English (oral and written).Why Join UsWork on large-scale, technically complex BESS EPC projects in the Philippines.Gain hands-on exposure to grid integration and utility-scale energy storage.Opportunity to grow into a senior technical role within an international company.
