Our Belgian sites are at the heart of cutting-edge developments for renewable energy, battery materials, catalysts, and recycling solutions for valuable metals.You’ll be part of a team that combines technological excellence with a strong focus on sustainability and circular economy.🎯 Scope of the RoleAs Project Manager within the Project Engineering Department, you will lead technical industrial projects from concept to completion — covering production facilities, R&D environments, and infrastructure. You’ll manage both ongoing and newly launched projects in a multidisciplinary industrial setting.🛠️ Key ResponsibilitiesDefine project scope, deliverables, and constraints (budget, planning) in alignment with internal clients.Assemble and lead cross-functional project teams.Oversee the complete technical design and engineering scope.Prepare specifications and tender documents for suppliers, contractors, and engineering partners.Select and coordinate internal and external partners, ensuring quality, safety, and timing.Monitor progress, budget, and resources, reporting to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.Manage change requests and ensure clear communication with all parties involved.📚 Technical ProfileMinimum 10 years’ experience as Project Manager leading industrial projects end-to-end.Minimum 7 years’ experience as (Project) Engineer (Mechanical, Electrical, Piping, Civil…).Proven background in the process industry (mandatory).Strong expertise in MS Project for planning and project management.Broad technical understanding of electromechanics and chemistry is an advantage.Excellent analytical skills with the ability to maintain a helicopter view.Strong administrative and reporting abilities.🤝 Personal SkillsNatural leader and proactive initiator.Strong communicator at all organizational levels (clients, suppliers, management).Team player with coaching experience and a passion for technology and engineering.🌐 Language RequirementsDutch: Native or fluentEnglish: Fluent📜 CertificationsVCA-VOL is a plus📍 Location & TravelBased in Olen region (Belgium)On-site presence required (occasional remote work possible with approval)Occasional international travel (≈5 days/month)
