Job Description
Cella is seeking an experienced Project Manager in the Learning & Development space, for our banking client in Toronto, Canada! The client requires 4 days per week onsite. This is a 12-month contract. Develop an understanding of overall portfolio/program movement with individual lines of business and rationalize how the assigned projects fit with business priorities in the long termDrive L&D processes to implement learning solutions in various formats including but not limited to in-person or virtual Instructor-led training (ILT), eLearning, webinars, self-directed learner pathways, and workshopsLead the end-to-end planning and execution of medium-to-high complexity L&D projects, leveraging key project management tools to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budgetSupport the vendor selection, engagement and onboarding process when third-party learning solutions are within scopeDevelop and implement effective stakeholder engagement strategiesBuild relationships and maintain regular communications with internal and external stakeholdersReport on project progress with project teams and business stakeholders at different levelsIn partnership with L&D CoEs and business partners, support the development of a delivery strategy, change & launch communications plan, and maintenance planEnsure tight governance control and actively manage/resolve risks and issuesConduct project retrospectives and act on lessons learned for continuous improvementStay current with emerging trends in project management inclusive of Agile and hybrid project practices and principlesBe an active member of the broader project management community by sharing subject matter expertise and learning to advance professional growthMust Have:• Project Management experience• MS Project/ MS office• Managing medium to high complexity projects•Financial Industry experience preferredQualifications/Skills/ExperienceAgile experience/SCRUMMinimum 7-10 years of experience in project management, preferably in a learning or adult training environmentPrior L&D experience in performance consulting, design, development, facilitation, and/or learning technologies is beneficialThorough understanding of project management frameworks and methodologiesPMP, Agile and/or Scrum certificationPractical knowledge in adult learning principles for various delivery methodsProven track record of delivering results and commitment to operational and service excellenceStrong client focus with ability to listen and quickly learn about various clients and become a trusted advisor on delivery learning solutions successfullyAbility to prioritize and manage multiple projects concurrently with changing business priorities in a fast-paced environmentAbility to manage multiple stakeholders and build relationships effectively, leveraging sound communication, negotiation, consensus-building and influencing skillsAbility to tailor communications to different stakeholders at different levelsSolutions-focused, "can-do" attitude to foster positive team morale and high engagementExcel in translating business needs into learning requirements in collaboration with L&D partnersStrong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skillsHighly adaptable and flexible with ability to take initiative in a dynamic work environmentProficiency in MS Office suite, especially MS ProjectCompetency in team meeting facilitation in virtual environments leveraging collaboration tools such as MS Teams and WebexExperience with LMS and LXP is a bonusExperience with eLearning tools and standards (e.g., SCORM, xAPI, HTML 5) and development software (e.g., Articulate Storyline/Rice) is a nice to have
