The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating and managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all project objectives are met.Responsibilities-Oversee daily operations of the Antigonish branch while maintaining communication with the main office in Truro- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects- Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine the scope of work and materials required- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to gather necessary information for estimating purposes- Conduct site visits to gather information and assess project requirements- Utilize construction management software to create and organize estimates- Highly responsive, with excellent time-management and organizational skills, a strong attention to details and methodical processes to ensure completeness, and accuracy of work often within tight timelines- Monitor project costs throughout the construction process and make adjustments as necessary- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in construction costs Qualifications:-Previous Project Management experience -Strong time management skills to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and construction drawings- Knowledge of project management principles and practices- Experience with construction estimating software - Knowledge/use of Xactimate software- Familiarity with construction materials, methods, and building codes- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in calculations- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and clientsPlease note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
