CompanyMighty RootsLocationGreenland, NHJob DutiesOversee an entire construction project from start to finishCollaborate with design team during estimating phase Control the time, cost and quality of the residential construction project Plan and coordinate all aspects of the construction process, including hiring contractors and working with engineers, architects and vendors Determine the scheduling of different phases of a project based on established deadlines Negotiate contracts with vendors, contractors and other workers Meet with the client on a regular basis to review progress, present invoices and budget updatesSecure building permits and licenses and delivery of materials and equipment to construction sites Confer with supervisors or other managers to monitor construction progress, including worker productivity and compliance with building and safety codes Resolve problems that arise due to inclement weather, emergencies or other issues that may cause delays Strengths & ExpectationsProven experience as a lead carpenterIn-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and OSHA guidelinesAbility to read drawings and construction plans and manage spreadsheetsExcellent organizational and leadership skillsFluent and effective verbal and written communicationAptitude in math and problem-solving abilitiesDeeply collaborative spiritRequirementsThe Mighty Roots project manager should have several years of field work experience in the construction industry or in a discipline related to their career, such as construction management or building science.To ApplyPlease send the following by email to: info@mightyroots.com: Introduce yourself, describing your relevant work experience and why you would be a great addition to our team.
