You will also have access to our Research and Development Academy, designed to develop our team and allow you to grow in our great organisation.Your responsibilitiesProject Planning ManagementBe responsible for the global device Project Plan. Ensuring that the internal and external schedules and process Milestones are synchronized so that the targets set according to global project champion and Customer can be reached.Project Resource ManagementBe responsible for project resource management, ensure adequate & efficient human resource deployed and project budget is well controlled.Project Execution ManagementProject Manager actuates global execution to co packer by making sure that co packer are doing right tasks and issues on right time; ensures that the project teams are following the global/local project development process principles, including milestone reviews, quality validation and production preparations. International travel will be required as part of the validation process.Project Quality ManagementBe responsible for project quality management. Work with quality employee to validate product design, qualification and continuous improvement to ensure project quality process is well followed. Deliver quality project to meet or exceed stakeholder’s expectation.Risk ManagementControlling the project related risk management process and steering preventive and corrective actions. Ensure the timely and efficient problem solving. Acts accordingly as the escalation point for local Project related issues and when needed escalates the project specific issues to the Management.Information ManagementEnsure the sharing of validated fact-based information both internally and externally across global project team, ensure that global project team members have adequate and up-to-date information. Organizing needed project resources with related resource owners. Setting practices, roles and responsibilities for information distribution and project execution.Technology ManagementEnsure adequate attention and action to the implementation of project-related fundamental technologies, good confidential and IP sense.Financial ManagementIntegrate costing information (cost models) from co packer to procurement & finance for consolidation. Be responsible for bidding package preparation and Capex application. Provide sufficient justification to procurement team for product cost and investment to achieve product COG target.Supply Chain ManagementSupport logistic and procurement team to design an efficient project-specific and competitive Supply Chain. Ensure together with global project team that agreed capacity, competence and material flow targets are met at right time.The experience we're looking forOutstanding engineering & industrial design ability8+ years experience in industry, at least 5 in engineering position.Technical and manufacturing management.Project management.Process equipment and technology expertise with a deep appreciation of Injection Molding and Material forming technology.Management of relationships with international third parties (and specifically equipment, RM and OEM suppliers); understand the business objective and know how to deal with different people.Good background knowledge of packaging/electronics technologyDetailed knowledge of tool-making and the key cost drivers in tool design.Success of the role will be measured by the successful production start up of NPD projects and by successful implementation of major cost reduction projects based on use of novel technology.The skills for successFully bilingual Chinese / English. Other languages as an advantage.Track record of delivery, goal oriented, sets clear priorities and meets deadlines.Good negotiating skills, able to align the different interests of internal parties R&D Category, Marketing, Procurement and External Manufacturers.Creative and positive attitude, overcomes obstacles, good at problem solving. Prepared to get involved, learn and apply knowledge and skills.Accurate, understands data, facts and figures; is able to distil complex data into useful information and conclusions.Strong communication and persuasion skills, both written and oral in English. Any other languages are advantageous but not essential.Combines a hands-on approach with a strategic vision.Works effectively in multifunctional teams, promotes team effort, builds relationships, gets buy-in from colleagues.Has a good sense of humor, able to put matters in perspective, prepared to acknowledge own mistakes and shortcomings and ensure that he/she and others learn from them.Flexible.
