Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Project Manager to oversee all phases of wind turbine decommissioning projects from planning and permitting to execution and closeout. The ideal candidate will have experience managing large-scale construction or renewable energy projects, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to safety, compliance, and environmental stewardshipProject Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation. Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure projects are executed safely, on time, and within budget. Conduct pre-project site visits and evaluations to identify potential challenges and create mitigation strategies.
Logistics and Operations Management: Manage all logistics, including the procurement and delivery of equipment, tools, and materials. Oversee transportation and disposal processes for recycled materials, including wind turbine blades and solar components. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company policies throughout the project lifecycle. Personnel Management: Lead, motivate, and manage on-site teams, including technicians, equipment operators, and subcontractors. Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members and monitor progress to ensure project milestones are met. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to foster professional growth and efficiency. Customer Interaction:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project, ensuring clear and effective communication. Provide regular updates on project progress, addressing any concerns or changes in scope. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business opportunities. Budget and Financial Oversight: Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources. Track project expenses and generate reports for management review. Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements without compromising quality or safety. Safety and Compliance: Promote and enforce strict adherence to safety standards, including OSHA regulations and company-specific protocols.
Conduct site safety audits and ensure that all personnel are properly trained and equipped. Address and resolve safety concerns promptly to maintain a safe working environment. Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized project documentation, including contracts, permits, schedules, and financial records.
