Role: Project Manager / Program Manager (Strategic Delivery & Governance)Location: JohannesburgWork Type: HybridJob Type: ContractExperience: 5+ years in Project Manager / Program Manager to oversee the planning, execution, governance, and delivery of strategic business initiatives.Required Qualifications5–12 years of experience in project or program management.Minimum 5 years of experience in process optimization / re-engineering.Experience with ITIL Service Management (preferred).Strong understanding of PMO methodology, governance, and delivery frameworks.Experience managing cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders.Proficiency in project planning tools (MS Project, JIRA, Monday.com, Smartsheet, etc.).Strong financial acumen for budgeting and benefits tracking.Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.Ability to manage risks, change, and resistance effectively.Certification preferred: PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum Master, SAFe, or equivalent.Telecom industry experience—especially prepaid systems, channels, distribution, or CVM (preferred).Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret customer behavior, data patterns, and operational workflows.Excellent documentation, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills.Key DeliverablesProject roadmap & execution planProcess maps & re-engineered workflowsRisk, issue & mitigation reportsFinancial & benefits trackingSteering committee documentationGovernance & compliance recordsChange management & stakeholder engagement plans
