About The RoleWe’re hiring a Senior Project Manager to lead major cybersecurity projects protecting Ontario’s key systems. You’ll manage teams, deliver security solutions like DLP and Guardium, and ensure systems are secure and compliant.Key ResponsibilitiesLead enterprise-wide security programs focused on CVAs, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget alignment. Define and validate information security architecture for DLP, encryption, and database monitoring. Oversee the design and implementation of data classification, IAM, and network security controls. Manage project teams, vendors, and integrations with SIEM (Splunk, Sentinel) and SOAR platforms. Facilitate consultative workshops to gather requirements, define threat models, and ensure compliance. Develop and manage project plans, risk registers, resource allocation, and change-control processes. Lead executive updates, steering committees, and architecture review boards. Ensure Day-2 supportability through documentation, knowledge transfer, and operational readiness. Promote best practices aligned with OPS I&IT frameworks and PMBOK standards. Required Skills & Experience10+ years of experience managing enterprise-scale IT modernization and cybersecurity programs. Proven expertise in Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Database Monitoring (IBM Guardium), Encryption, and Key Management. Strong understanding of IAM (SSO, MFA, PKI) and network security (Firewalls, NAC, SASE). Proficiency in project management methodologies (PMBOK, Agile, Waterfall). Knowledge of SIEM/SOAR tools (Splunk, Azure Sentinel) and governance frameworks (ITIL, ISO 27001, FIPPA/PHIPA). Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and executive reporting skills. Experience in the public sector, regulatory environments, or large enterprise IT transformations is an asset. Nice to HaveExperience leading cross-functional security programs involving cloud and on-prem environments (AWS/Azure/GCP). Familiarity with AODA, PCI DSS, and government compliance mandates. Demonstrated success mentoring security architects or project teams. Location: Toronto, Ontario (Hybrid)
