Project Manager (Tennessee) – 18-Month Grant-Funded PositionThe Naloxone ProjectThe Naloxone Project is a national medical and public health nonprofit based in Golden, Colorado. We work to address the opioid crisis and prevent overdose deaths by ensuring naloxone is accessible and stigma-free. Our focus is on hospitals and medical settings, supporting labor and delivery units, emergency departments, EMS agencies, and clinics in distributing naloxone to at-risk patients before discharge.We are hiring a Tennessee-based Project Manager to support an 18-month Universal Postpartum Naloxone Project funded by the Tennessee Department of Health. This project will provide every new mother in participating hospitals with a family first aid kit containing naloxone, fentanyl test strips, and basic first aid supplies. The goal is to normalize naloxone as a standard household item.Salary and Benefits• Salary: $65,000 annually• Additional $11,000–$14,300 in benefits (employer-paid health, dental, vision, and life insurance)• 403b retirement option• Remote work environment with flexibility• Generous vacation and family-friendly policies• Collaborative team environment with national leaders in public health, harm reduction, and medicineJob Responsibilities• Support the Universal Postpartum Naloxone Project– Complete monthly reports– Attend monthly grant meetings– Coordinate data collection– Provide site-based training• Manage TNP’s Maternal Overdose Matters (MOMs) Initiative• Coordinate purchases of first aid and naloxone supplies• Assemble all kits• Coordinate distribution of kits to partner hospitals• Provide education and technical assistance to hospitals in development and implementation• Work with hospital representatives to identify and support key stakeholders• Serve as liaison between TNP’s data team and hospital data contacts• Develop toolkits, documents, spreadsheets, surveys, and forms• Coordinate monthly Hospital Implementation and Leadership Committee meetings• Provide ongoing technical assistance to facilities• Assist with content creation and public awareness efforts on social and traditional mediaQualificationsEducation:• Bachelor’s degree in social work, nursing, education, public health, human services, health sciences, psychology, sociology, or a related field,OR• 3+ years of work experience in similar rolesSkills and Experience:• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills• Strong writing and education skills• Excellent time management and organizational abilities• Proven ability to self-start, prioritize, and manage multiple projects• Working knowledge of Microsoft and Google work environmentsLocation• Hybrid, based in Tennessee• Remote work plus in-person travel to hospital sites for training and supply distributionRequirements• Valid driver’s license• Personal vehicleHow to Apply:Email your resume and cover letter to ryan@naloxoneproject.comInterviews will be conducted on a rolling basis.
