Unijobs DAC are currently recruiting for a Project Manager on behalf of one of our public sector clients. The position is temporary, full-time, working a 35 hours per week and is anticipated to run for a 12-month period. Working 35 hours per week, the successful candidate will be employed as an agency employee and will be paid an hourly rate of â¬44.77 per hour based off an annualised salary of â¬81,475. The chosen candidate will accrue 30 days annual leave per year and paid Bank Holidays. The post will operate on a hybrid working model with a mix of onsite and remote working. Onsite location will be Dublin 8.Role PurposeOur clients are due to migrate their financial management systems to the Shared Service Office in 2026. This role involves leading out on this project and supporting the organisation through this transformation.Key ResponsibilitiesManagement of the overall strategy for change and preparing detailed plans for the system changeover.Identify and manage project risks and assessment of the impact on operations.Manage planned activates against the overall project timeline and ensure adherence to critical success factors with escalation to management of any deviations from course.Continuous monitoring of the project and development of key performance indicators to measure progress.Prepare and issue communications on the planned transformation to relevant stakeholders.Assess training needs and work with the business to implement solutions and training plans.Continuously assess project performance and identify and build on lessons learned throughout the programme.Skills & ExperienceA track record of 2+ years successfully managing specific aspects within the planning/delivery of large scale project(s) within a medium - large scale organisationFamiliarity with Oracle ERPExperience of budget planning, financial management and resource management processesRelevant experience of engaging with senior stakeholders and management as relevant to this role.Excellent knowledge and understanding of project management methodology to enable successful project performance and delivery. (Prince 2, Agile, Waterfall)Work with the key stakeholders to define project requirements, scope and plans and manage the progress and completion of all project tasks and activities using recognised project management tools.Develop documentation to support project approvals and implementation including business case, requirements, project plans etc.Excellent problem solving, analytical and decision-making skills: the ability to quickly grasp and understand complex issues and the impact on service deliveryThe ability to gather and analyse information from relevant sources, weighing up a range of critical factors to integrate ideas into a common visionThe ability to work with multi-disciplinary team members and stakeholders to facilitate high performance, developing and achieving clear and realistic objectivesSkilled in IT applications, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.Proficiency in MS Project, Office 365 - MSTeams, SharePointCore CompetenciesAnalytical and problem-solving ability.Clear and concise reporting skills.Strong organisational and time management skills.Ability to build good working relationships with colleagues and external partners.Commitment to integrity, transparency, and accountability.The above list is not intended to be a comprehensive list of all duties involved and consequently, the successful candidate may be required to perform other duties as requested by their line manager.Unijobs is an equal opportunities employer.*This position may be subject to Garda Vetting and Foreign Police Clearance, if applicable you will be required to obtain these prior to commencing in this role*
