Project Manager

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join a University and lead a key initiative aimed at mapping research governance processes and preparing them for automation. This project plays a vital role in a broader strategy to streamline research study setup and improve operational efficiency.Purpose:To oversee the delivery of the Process Mapping and Diagnostic Phase – ensuring successful coordination, stakeholder engagement, and reporting to establish a foundation for intelligent automation across research governance functions.Key Responsibilities:Plan, coordinate, and monitor delivery of the process mapping project within agreed timelines and budgetFacilitate collaboration across governance, pharmacy, imaging, and other support departmentsLead communication and engagement with stakeholders to maintain commitment and visibilityProduce progress reports, risk logs, and outcome summaries for senior leadership and partnersEnsure alignment with regional and national automation strategiesEssential Skills & Experience:Proven project management experience in research operations or NHSStrong organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skillsUnderstanding of research governance and study set-up processesExperience coordinating cross-site or multi-partner projectsDay rate: £275 - £300 Contract type: temporary, 5 months Working hours: 0.4 FTE (part-time - 2 days per week)Location: London (hybrid working)This vacancy will be actively shortlisted so early applications are encouraged to avoid missing outVenn Group is an equal opportunities employment business and employment agency and welcomes applications from all candidates
