We seek a medior profile with a proven track record in project management, specifically within engineering projects.About The RoleStep into a pivotal role where you’ll work on engineering projects aimed at enhancing Germanium production facilities at the Olen site. Managed by the Project Engineering department, you'll take technical industrial projects from concept to completion.Key responsibilitiesDefine project scope in consultation with the client, identifying constraints such as budget and timelineMaintain ongoing client engagement throughout the project to capture, assess, and implement approved scope changesPrepare technical specifications and tender documents for orders, engineering firms, and contractors (both internal and external)Select and onboard external partners, including orders, engineering firms, contractors, and specialized resources, such as designers or outsourced project componentsLead and assemble the project team, providing direction and oversight to all internal and external resourcesOversee the technical design of the entire project, ensuring alignment with objectives and standardsMonitor project progress and resources continuously, ensuring quality, timelines, and budget complianceReport regularly to stakeholders, providing updates on progress, risks, and key decisionsWhat we're looking forYou are an engineer with a minimum of 5yrs professional experience and already managed industrial projectsYou have a broad general knowledge of the different disciplines: Mechanics, electricity, piping, Civil,…Knowledge and application of all common project management aspectsAcademic thinking level (analytical but also helicopter view)Technical knowledge such as electromechanics or chemistryGood reporting skillsYou can manage and coach a teamDutch native and fluent in EnglishVCA-VOL certificationWhy join us?At VeroTech, we empower engineers to grow, innovate, and lead.
