Involved in almost every aspect of managing the project from estimating the project, to the bid presentation and negotiations, to the successful execution and closing of the project. The PM is the liaison between the Project and the Client and the Design Team. The PM works together with and supports the field operations with timely supply of information, materials, workforce, and management, and is ultimately responsible for the success of the Project. The PM is responsible for ensuring the project is completed successfully and consistent with the company' values while enriching the company's relationship with the Client.
Responsibilities & DutiesEstimating and scope of work creationContract evaluations and negotiationsProject leadership and management including being able to adjust and be creativeSoliciting, reviewing, awarding, tracking, and managing of vendor and subcontractor agreementsRFI, Submittal, and Change Order creation, coordination, and trackingInvoicing and project cost tracking and reportingEnhance customer relationsScheduling the work of the project and look ahead a minimum of three months out.
Work with the Superintendent in setting shorter supporting goalsWork with and aid the Superintendent in overseeing the field operations and the leadership of daily and weekly activities and able to set and enforce deadlinesEnsuring the project is meeting our standards for safety, quality, timeliness and costAbility to proactively identify risks and potential issues, problem solve, and research and implement solutionsAbility to manage and lead project meetingsOrganize and keep file systemsOther jobsite duties as they may arise. Reports ToThe Project Manager will report to the SR. Project Manager (if applicable), and the COO or CEO.
Qualifications10+ years of experience in the construction industry. A degree in the construction field preferredProven leadership and management skillsGood customer, personnel, and contractor relationsExperience in estimating and take-offsComputer skills and willing to learn new softwareGreat writing and communication skillsA team player that is willing to learn and growFluent in print and specification reading and interpreting.
