Opportunity: Project Officer, First Line Risk - Financial Economic Crime (FEC) Are you a highly motivated and experienced Risk professional looking for a challenging temporary assignment? We are seeking a Project Officer to join the First Line Risk (FLR) department within the Financial Economic Crime (FEC) domain for a major financial institution.This is a critical role driven by the significant number of changes currently being implemented in the FEC landscape. If you thrive on making a tangible impact on preventing money laundering and financial crime, we want to hear from you!What You Will Do (The Role)As a Project Officer, you'll play a central role in enhancing our risk management framework:Risk Management Liaison: Act as a key point of contact within the FEC department regarding risk management.Process Improvement: Devise, coordinate with stakeholders, and implement process improvements to strengthen controls.Reporting Optimization: Analyze current departmental reports and propose ways to optimize them for efficiency and clarity.Action Management: Analyze Finding and Action management and propose structural solutions to provide management with complete, up-to-date insight into outstanding action points.Measures Assessment: Assess existing processes and propose improvements to optimize management measures.What You Bring (The Requirements)We are looking for a self-driven individual who can hit the ground running and work independently.Hard RequirementsMinimum HBO working and thinking level.Substantive risk experience.Knowledge of and experience with Risk processes (at least 2 years, e.g., as a compliance officer).Demonstrable experience in FEC processes.Proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel.The main language for this role is English and Dutch would be an advantage.Soft RequirementsExcellent communication skills: Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, from employee to senior management.Flexible and stress-resistant: You are a team player who functions well under time pressure.Results-oriented: You keep a close eye on the end goal of your projects.Interested in contributing your expertise to a critical area of financial crime prevention?
