Project Officer

We are seeking a Project Officer to support the delivery of EU-funded projects in areas related to European policy, research, and sustainable development. The role involves managing the full project cycle — from proposal development to reporting — in collaboration with European partners and stakeholders.This role would suit someone who has experience in delivering projects, working with partners, the consortium, and delivering various working packages, as well as all aspects related to EU-funded projects.Job description:Support the development and submission of EU project proposals, including drafting narratives, budgets, and application forms in line with funding requirements.Oversee project implementation, monitoring deliverables, milestones, and budgets to ensure compliance with grant agreements.Prepare and coordinate reports, deliverables, minutes, presentations, and communication materials.Liaise with project partners, EU institutions, and stakeholders, ensuring smooth collaboration and timely delivery of outputs.Organise international events, workshops, and working group meetings related to project activities.Manage and update project websites, databases, and mailing lists.Contribute to the broader day-to-day operations of the organisation’s project portfolio.Profile:University degree in a relevant field.2-3 years of professional experience in EU-funded project management, ideally within Horizon Europe, LIFE, or similar collaborative programmes.Good understanding of financial reporting, cost control, and budget management.Knowledge of EU funding procedures and project administration rules.Interest or background in European policy, research, or sustainability topics.Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken); knowledge of additional EU languages is an asset.Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.Motivated, proactive, and committed to European values and cooperation.What we offer:A stimulating and collaborative international work environment.Opportunities for professional growth and project ownership.A competitive salary and benefits package.A small, dynamic team where initiative and creativity are encouraged.
