The Rural City of Wangaratta is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Projects Officer to help deliver our Capital Works program and support the Infrastructure Planning and Delivery team.What You’ll DoAs a Projects Officer, you'll be the engine behind our infrastructure initiatives. Your role will include:Coordinating project reporting and administration using CAMMS and our Integrated Project Management frameworkSupporting procurement, budgeting, and contract processesPreparing reports, presentations, and maintaining accurate project documentationAssisting with grants, community planning programs, and internal trainingKeeping project information up-to-date across systems and public platformsWhat You’ll BringWe’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and brings:Qualifications or experience in business administration, project coordination, or procurementStrong organisational and planning skills with the ability to meet deadlinesHigh-level computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office and records management systemsKnowledge of project management and procurement frameworks (local government experience is a plus!)Excellent communication, problem-solving, and multitasking abilitiesA positive, can-do attitude and a commitment to continuous improvementFor more information and to view the position description, please visit our website at www.wangaratta.vic.gov.au.
