As a partner to all of the major automobile manufacturers, as well as key players in the aerospace and industrial sectors, we offer you many development opportunities.General InformationWe are searching for a new colleague, a person with a strong background in Purchasing Automotive and who enjoys driving and coordinating topics and sourcing teams.Your Key ResponsibilitiesPurchasing Representative in Project team from acquisition phase until SOP, sub-Project Manager for Purchasing content, ensures early involvement of purchasing and supplier.Supporting activities planned by the business field to harmonize business strategies with purchasing strategies and implement them in day-to-day activities.Follow-up on supplier and material status during product development phase, e.g. requests for quotation, in-time sourcing, continuous feedback of APQP / PPAP status from SQM.Push design to cost / target cost process to attain the target costs derived from target costs workshop for materials.To reduce total material costs by fulfilling the required functions.Perform Cost Reduction Programs (CRP) for BU's products after SOP, push Re-design to cost and CRP programs.Project support for medium to high complex projects in business fields to deliver, on time, all related matters by optimum inputs for quotes, workshops, BOM evaluation and implementation of potential savings in the project.Support technical change process after SOP, is offering support for the Second Sourcing to secure permanent supplies with competitive terms.Contributes by providing input/development and to implementation of purchasing strategies to have influence at supplier level and thus provide competitive proposals for product improvements.Is offering support for the carrying out benefit analysis workshops with key suppliers to concentrate on the key functions of the components/project.Contributes to the preparation of sourcing decisions to guarantee sourcing decisions that correspond to the sourcing strategy.Is offering support for the Market analysis (national/international) to acquire new suppliers and new technologies in the deployment of suppliers.Carrying out supplier evaluation to concentrate on the best suppliers and improve the current supplier base.Provide support on local purchasing topics for market analysis and localization efforts and visit potential suppliers.Your QualificationsDegree in Business Administration, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.Experience in Advanced/Project Purchasing - Electronics knowhow is a plus.Autonomous, driven, passionate by a challenging & dynamic environment.Very good communication and networking skills, strong moderator and being able to sustain management presentations.Experience in working in interdisciplinary teams.Very good Microsoft Office skills (including xls, ppt).Business fluent language skills in English (spoken and in writing), German is a plus.Ability to negotiate and operate in different cultures and to work under pressure.Our OfferingOnboarding & Integration: we help you settle in quickly through our onboarding program and a team that supports you.Health & Life Insurance: we provide private health plans and life insurance, so you can have peace of mind.Discounts: enjoy discounts from our partners on activities, trainings, goods etc.Bookster Subscription: are you a passionate reader?
