Project Quality Expert (w/m/d)

Position Description:We are looking for a Project Quality Expert (w/m/d) to join our Munich team. This position reports to the Team Lead BTC (Battery Technology Center) and supports the European BTC Team, working on documentation for decision making, Information management, Technology approval & handover etc. Focus on Battery Housings for EV´s and PHEV´s, Crash Management Systems (CMS), Body Structural Parts etc.In this role, you are expected to be responsible for:Consult on DFMEA and PFMEA processes within all project phasesSupport Project Team to consider quality aspects in the designReview and evaluate specifications in regards of quality requirements, customer documentationCommunicate with customers on clarification of specifications, completing customer documents, complaints, process changes in regards of qualityParticipate in project reviews to ensure quality aspects according OEM requirementsPlan, coordinate test method & validation activities to fulfill new product quality requirementsFacilitate root cause analysis (RCA) in order to implement necessary actions and to provide lessons learnt to the managementAuthor and execute Quality plans for Quality Management systemWork together with Minth China team & Plants on quality improvements: Quality Check lists; Evaluation of technical concepts regarding quality fulfillment acc. Minth and OEM requirements; Identify quality risks on design and process in the plantConsolidate and present to OEM D-FMEA Design-Failure-Method-Effect-Analysis) and P-FMEA (Process-Failure-Method-Effect-Analysis) for getting robust products and processes acc. VDAInitiate and perform root cause analysis, using statistical and capability analysis to solve problemsTo set-up regular Lessons Learned sessions and workshops for Best Practice reviews, in aspect of quality improvements in the design and processEnsure that the defined Project Quality objectives (QMS) are achieved by measuring, auditing and by implementing necessary actions to resolve quality issues on the projectSupport on internal and external auditsWillingness for business trips to plants mainly in EU & partially in ChinaFollowing qualifications and abilities are expected for this role:Background:Engineering education (e.g. mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, automotive engineering or similar) or comparable degree in similar fields for Project Quality contractsExperience in field of Quality, engineering, Manufacturing3-5 year experience in project quality fieldCertified Six Sigma yellow/greenASQ certified quality engineer and/or auditorAbility:Very Good knowledge/certified on automotive quality standards like IATF 16949, ISO14001, ISO45001Demonstrate ability to analyze and resolve problemsDemonstrate ability to influence othersStrong organizational skillsStrong compliance focus & personal integrityExperience on FMEA process according VDAProcess-oriented thinking as well as an independent, structured and proactive working method and Self-managementExperience with project work and presentation skillsGood experience with MS Office, MS Project, FMEA softwareWillingness to necessary business tripsInternational MindsetGerman and English language skills are necessary; Chinese language or further others will be a plusWe offer:Participation in international projects with highly motivated and performance-oriented teamsExciting customer in the premium automotive segmentPleasant working atmosphereDifferent company events & Corporate BenefitsJoin our team!
