This includes coordinating quality activities throughout the project lifecycle—from design to industrialization and post-launch The PQM leads proactively the project quality activities to ensure consistency with customers’ expectations and to reach the expected quality level defined for each project Milestones, in line with the quality objectives.Purpose:Manages quality activities during the development and industrialization of a new PowertrainEnsure that Quality requirements are met on a worldwide scaleMain activities:Lead the project scope definition to ensure consistency with Quality customers’ expectations and meet the target set at Contract Milestone. Ensure the consistency of project Quality deliverables, with other contributing Projects. Ensure all developments processes are executed in the different project phases according to Quality objectives and best practices. Provie all relevant information to fulfill the 360° Project Milestone Assessments. Manage supplier development through APQP-PPAP process. Missions:Establish the Quality plan and ensure the proper application during program execution.Manage quality convergence by applying the quality processes from the preliminary phase up to SOP + 6 months In charge of definition & drafting plan for achievement of the Quality objectives Powertrain Project, by carrying out the actions necessary to their elaboration, consolidation and management (including quality target and forecast, Customer survey, white books…) Establish the results of the design process by drafting the powertrain Design Assessment /360° as well as the quality part of the milestone document and evaluating the customer impact in case of difference.Ensures that lesson learn from previous project are well known and applied: Alert in case of deviation and Manage corrective actions when necessary and propose improvements when relevant.Support the quality assessment of industrialization in close coordination with Customer Experience and Industrial Quality Team.Deliver the Quality PSK for every milestone / reviewSupport the program teams to prepare milestone /reviews & follow up related action plans and validate expected maturity status; Ensure close coordination with all stakeholders on his perimeter: core team, vehicle projects, Quality Department, Mechanics or Vehicle plants, Joint Venture Team and engineering suppliers if any, for convergence of project milestone deliverable requirementManages project issues/risk and ensures timely closure with proper root cause analysis & standardized action plan.Ensure the APQP PAPP synthesis at a System levelEnsure and animate the quality convergence of the batch method with the industrial teamEnsure the achievement of quality target of upcoming secondary launches of powertrain by evaluating the outcome of the design processes and writing the secondary launch quality assessment.Guarantee the applications and follow the deviation (IAA)Guarantee that there is no impact on quality during product or process changes after mass production by writing quality assessment in Product & Process milestones (for serial life).Report through Monthly Quality Reporting / Score CardProfileRequirementsEngineering Master degree holder, an automotive or mechanical engineering background would be an advantageMinimum 5 years of experience in Project Quality or Project Management, with proven success in an Automobile Parts Industry Strong analytical and presentation skillsGood business acumen, assertive and able to work with global teamAbility to work in a challenging environment, meeting multiple project deadlinesStrong problem-solving skills and understanding of design/manufacturing processesSoft skillsTeam player – comfortable within a matrix organizationStrategic thinkerContinuous improvement approachResults driven being able to go the extra mile to reach the objectivesEffective communicator with strong interpersonal skillsCustomer focusedWe OfferYou will join an enthusiastic team and a respected company known for its strong international focus in the challenging automotive industryWe offer a dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth and development and exposure to new best in class simulation tools and new technologiesYou can count on motivated colleagues in a professional setting that values creativity, initiative and effective communicationWe provide a congestion-free access and an attractive salary package with all kinds of fringe benefitsAdditional Information We are an equal opportunity employer that does not discriminate on the basis of any legally protected status.
