Sinergy Services S.r.l. is seeking Project Quality Managers, QA/QC E&I Inspectors, QA/QC Mechanical Inspectors, and Welding Inspectors to be assigned to its international projects in the following countries: Nigeria, Angola, and Mozambique.Project Quality Manager(Onshore & Offshore – Oil & Gas- NIGERIA, ANGOLA, AND MOZAMBIQUE)Role OverviewThe Project Quality Manager ensures that all project activities—engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, and commissioning—are executed in full compliance with contractual requirements, project specifications, and applicable industry standards. The role includes managing quality planning, inspections, documentation, and coordination with clients, vendors, and certifying bodies.Key ResponsibilitiesReview contractual quality requirements and develop the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and Quality Control Plan (QCP).Coordinate Pre-Inspection Meetings (PIM) and define inspection schedules for vendors and site activities.Oversee execution of the Inspection & Test Plan (ITP) and ensure correct compilation of RFI/ITR, certificates, and Quality Dossiers.Lead QA/QC teams on site (onshore and offshore), ensuring proper inspections and mechanical completion activities.Manage non-conformities, corrective actions, and lessons learned.Act as primary interface with clients, third-party inspectors, and certifying bodies.Prepare quality reports and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and applicable technical standards (API, ISO, ASME, IEC/ATEX).RequirementsTechnical diploma or degree in engineering or a related field.Solid experience in QA/QC roles within the Oil & Gas sector, including fabrication yards, construction sites, and mechanical completion.Strong knowledge of inspection processes, documentation control, and quality standards.Ability to lead multidisciplinary QC teams and interact with clients and suppliers.CompEx or hazardous area certification is an advantage.QA/QC E&I Inspector(Onshore & Offshore – Oil & Gas- NIGERIA, ANGOLA, AND MOZAMBIQUE)Role OverviewThe QA/QC Electrical & Instrumentation Inspector ensures that all E&I works—fabrication, installation, testing, and commissioning—are performed in accordance with project specifications, contractual requirements, international standards, and approved procedures. The role includes inspection, verification, and documentation activities throughout the entire project lifecycle, both onshore and offshore.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct inspections of electrical and instrumentation installations, including cables, trays, junction boxes, transformers, motors, panels, PLC/DCS systems, field instruments, and control systems.Verify compliance with ITPs, project drawings, datasheets, wiring diagrams, loop diagrams, and standards (IEC, ATEX, IEEE, NEC).Inspect hazardous area installations according to applicable requirements (ATEX/IECEx), including glands, connections, and equipment certification.Witness and verify functional tests, continuity tests, insulation resistance tests, loop checks, FAT/SAT activities, and commissioning stages.Monitor contractor E&I works to ensure compliance with project specifications and safe working practices.Issue and follow up RFIs, ITRs, punch lists, and ensure traceability of materials and equipment certificates.Review E&I documentation, calibration certificates, test records, and red-marked drawings.Support Mechanical Completion, ensuring proper handover documentation for E&I systems.Report non-conformities, support corrective actions, and contribute to lessons learned.Interface with clients, third-party inspectors, QA/QC teams, engineering, and construction personnel.RequirementsTechnical diploma or degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering (or related field).Solid experience as QA/QC E&I Inspector in Oil & Gas projects (fabrication yards, refineries, petrochemical plants, offshore platforms).Strong knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, control systems, and hazardous area classifications (ATEX/IECEx).Familiarity with ITPs, E&I test procedures, loop checks, commissioning processes, and quality documentation systems.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (SLDs, P&IDs, wiring diagrams, loop sheets, Hook-up drawings).Good understanding of international standards (IEC, ATEX, API, IEEE, ISO).Offshore certifications (BOSIET/GWO) are considered an advantage.Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with contractors, vendors, and clients.English proficiency (technical English required).QA/QC Mechanical Inspector(Onshore & Offshore – Oil & Gas- NIGERIA, ANGOLA, AND MOZAMBIQUE)Role OverviewThe QA/QC Mechanical Inspector is responsible for verifying that all mechanical works and equipment comply with project specifications, contractual requirements, international standards, and approved procedures. The role covers inspection and certification activities during fabrication, assembly, installation, testing, and mechanical completion for both onshore and offshore projects.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform inspections on mechanical components, piping, pressure vessels, rotating and static equipment.Verify materials, welding activities, dimensional checks, NDT results, torqueing, alignment, and installation according to the approved ITP.Conduct surveillance at vendor shops and project sites (onshore/offshore).Review and approve test packs, WPS/PQR, welding maps, and documentation for mechanical completion.Issue and follow up RFIs, punch lists, ITRs, and ensure proper traceability of materials and certificates.Monitor contractor activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards (API, ASME, ISO).Report any non-conformities and support corrective actions.Assist in the compilation and turnover of Mechanical Completion and Final Dossiers.Interface with clients, third-party inspectors, and construction teams on mechanical quality matters.Ensure all inspections are carried out safely and in accordance with HSE procedures.RequirementsMechanical engineering background (degree or technical diploma).Proven experience in QA/QC mechanical inspection roles in Oil & Gas projects (fabrication yards, refineries, offshore platforms).Strong knowledge of welding, NDT, pressure equipment, piping systems, and applicable codes (ASME, API, ISO, EN).Familiarity with ITPs, mechanical completion systems, and quality documentation.Ability to interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, isometrics, GA, and vendor documents.Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with contractors, vendors, and clients.Offshore certifications (BOSIET/GWO) are an advantage.English language proficiency (technical English required).Welding Inspector(Onshore & Offshore – Oil & Gas- NIGERIA, ANGOLA, AND MOZAMBIQUE)Role OverviewThe Welding Inspector ensures that all welding and related fabrication activities are executed in accordance with project specifications, welding procedures, international standards, and approved quality requirements. The role covers inspection, monitoring, and documentation during fabrication, construction, and mechanical completion phases, both onshore and offshore.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform inspections and surveillance on welding activities, including fit-up, welding parameters, consumables, and joint preparation.Verify that WPS, PQR, and welder qualifications are approved and correctly applied.Check welding materials, traceability, heat numbers, and storage conditions for electrodes and consumables.Monitor welding processes (SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, SAW, etc.) and ensure compliance with project requirements.Review NDT procedures and results (RT, UT, MT, PT, VT) and ensure proper execution by qualified personnel.Conduct dimensional and visual inspections during fabrication and installation of piping, structural steel, and pressure equipment.Issue and follow up RFIs, ITRs, punch lists, and NCRs where required.Ensure proper documentation, traceability, weld maps, and support preparation of mechanical completion packages.Verify PWHT activities, hardness tests, hydrostatic tests, and pressure testing as required by the project.Coordinate with QA/QC teams, construction teams, NDT subcontractors, and client representatives.Ensure all welding-related activities comply with safety procedures and site regulations.RequirementsTechnical diploma or degree in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering (or equivalent).Solid experience as Welding Inspector in Oil & Gas projects (fabrication yards, pipelines, refineries, offshore structures).Qualified with international certifications such as CSWIP 3.1 / 3.2, AWS CWI, or equivalent.Strong knowledge of welding processes, metallurgy, NDT methods, and international codes (ASME IX, ASME B31.3, API 1104, AWS D1.1, ISO standards).Ability to interpret isometric drawings, welding maps, P&IDs, and fabrication drawings.Familiarity with ITPs, welding documentation, and mechanical completion systems.Experience in ATEX/IECEx or hazardous area fabrication is considered an advantage.Strong reporting skills and ability to interface with contractors, vendors, and clients.Offshore certifications (BOSIET/GWO) are preferred for offshore assignments.English proficiency (technical English required)
