Our client, a rapidly expanding Construction & Program Management firm (under 50 employees and growing), is seeking a proactive and strategic HR Manager to lead their people operations. The ideal candidate will or has had experience with smaller but growing firms. Candidates in South Carolina are preferred. This is a DIRECT HIRE and REMOTE position!The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives. They will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices.
ResponsibilitiesRecruit and Onboard new hires Conduct performance management and provide feedback Manage Payroll and benefits for employeesSupport with driving culture across remote workers throughout the USEnsure multi-state complianceStrong background with building and implementing HR systems / processes from the ground upQualificationsBachelor's degree or relevant experience5 to 10+ years' experience in Human ResourcesMust have experience in the AEC industryStrong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategiesDemonstrated expertise training managers and employeesExperience with Gusto, Deltek and payroll within billable-hour environmentsStrong organizational, critical thinking and communications skillsAttention to detail and good judgement
