All rights reserved.Job PurposeThis role will aim to generate sales and expand market presence for decorative paint products by securing project opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders, and ensuring successful execution of large-scale projects and delivering solutions that ensure customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.Key Accountabilities Project Acquisition & Sales Growth Prospect and qualify new project opportunities. Develop proposals and negotiate contracts. Convert pipeline projects into confirmed sales. Customer Relationship Management Conduct regular customer meetings and site visits. Provide technical support and after-sales service. Maintain a customer database with updated interactions. Specification & Market development Present paint systems, shade options, and performance benefits. Organize product demonstrations and technical seminars. Ensure inclusion of company products in BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and tender documents.ExperienceSkills and Knowledge Minimum University degree/ diploma with 3-5 years of selling in allied industries - cement, tiles, fittings, paints, building material. Experience of working with specifier organization in construction industry and managing medium size business team is preferable Should have the ability to work along with a team of people both on and off roll Must be a self-starter, highly organized with good project management skills; ability to multi-task effectively with cross functional teams and meet deadlines. Should possess the intellect to understand and predict customer needs and take effective actions to provide tailored solutions Clear communication skills (written and verbal communication skills) and strong interpersonal and influencing skills Know how on Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)At AkzoNobel we are highly committed to ensuring an inclusive and respectful workplace where all employees can be their best self.
